I am Alayah Wood, a licensed cosmetologist based in Virginia, proudly serving clients across the DC, Maryland, and Virginia areas. It was through the amazing friendships I formed and cultivated at my alma mater, Hampton University, that SLAYLAY came to life.

SLAY stands for Stand, Live, Accept, and Yield — a message I hold dear. My mission rooted in my God-given purpose, is to empower women not only to slay in their daily lives but also thrive spiritually and physically. With over a decade of experience in hair and makeup, I am dedicated to continuously learning and evolving in the beauty industry. My goal is to enhance natural beauty from the inside out.
